INGREDIENTS
INSTRUCTIONS
1 kg of Nabil’s Cheese Sambousik
2 cups sugar
1 cups water
A Squeeze of a lemon
Pistachio
Prepare the syrup by adding sugar and water to a pot over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves.
When the water starts boiling add a squeeze of lemon juice and leave the syrup to boil for 8 minutes.
Lift the pot aside to cool.
Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan, then add Nabil’s Cheese Sambousik until it becomes light brown.
Take the Sambousik out of the pan and dry it on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
Arrange the Sambousik stack it in the serving platter.
Pour the syrup over the Sambousik and sprinkle the pistachio on top before serving.
